Conference Level
Marquette/Thunder Bay/Bay de Noc
Located on the conference level, these beautifully appointed meeting rooms exude the sense of style and elegance characteristic of The American Club. Built-in projection screens and external television/cable hook-ups allow for the use of modern meeting tools.
The smaller Marquette Bay is perfect for small conference-style seating of 32, while the Bay de Noc and Thunder Bay rooms can accommodate banquet settings of 80.
Great Bay Room
Under the glitter of crystal chandeliers and a 10-foot ceiling, the Great Bay Room offers uncommon luxury. This elegant facility offers 2,427 square feet of space with banquet-style capacity of up to 160 guests. A versatile meeting room, the Great Bay divides into three more intimate salons, Ellison, Sister and Sturgeon Bay. Each salon features built-in state-of-the-art equipment such as external television/cable hook-ups, recording capabilities and more.
Traverse Bay, Georgian Bay and Whitefish Bay

Grand Hall of the Great Lakes
Flexibility is the key to any meeting and our Grand Hall of the Great Lakes allows you to arrange large meetings and breakouts easily. The entire facility can seat 998 theater-style, yet also divides into five individual salons, Lake Huron, Lake Superior, Lake Michigan, Lake Ontario and Lake Erie.
The Grand Hall of the Great Lakes is conveniently serviced by a freight elevator and features portable staging, external television/cable hook-up, programmable theater lighting, and audio/video recording capabilities. The Grand Hall of the Great Lakes is also fully ADA-compliant.
This hall can comfortably accommodate anywhere from 136 to 998 guests. The largest of the two breakout sections, Lake Superior and Lake Michigan, feature more than 2,300 square feet of function space, while the Lake Erie, Lake Ontario and Lake Huron rooms provide more than 720 square feet.
Lobby Level
Founder's Room - up to 18 guests
For board meetings or executive sessions, consider the Founder’s Boardroom, a richly-appointed facility with seating for 18 people. Offering the added luxury of a private courtyard terrace, the Founder’s Boardroom features individual lighting and temperature controls and state-of-the-art electronics and presentation support.
Carriage House
Appley Theatre
The Appley Theatre is a state-of-the-art facility, offering tiered classroom seating for 88 attendees. Ideal for training and sales meetings, the Theatre features rear screen projection and computer enhancement capabilities.
Task Force Rooms
Guarantee the success of your occasion in either of two Task Force Rooms. Both rooms feature armoires with audiovisual equipment, tackable surfaces and built-in projection screens. Closed-circuit television and telephone hook-ups are also available. The Task Force rooms can comfortably host 16 conference-style, or 12 when arranged in a U-shape.
Council Room
Located within the Appley Theater of Carriage House, the Council Room is a fantastic meeting or party space. With its floor to ceiling windows lining the room, natural light pours into this spacious area, truly enlivening the space. Nearby Task Force rooms allow for perfect breakout opportunities.
Guest Room Level
Winnebago Suite Available for private parties and smaller groups of people looking for a great place to gather and socialize at The American Club, the Winnebago Suite is the perfect room for small corporate meetings in an informal setting. Amenities include:

Rental fees for the Winnebago Suite are $250 for 4 hours or $750 for all day.
