August 9-15, 2010, Straits Course at Whistling Straits®

The Straits course was always envisioned as a host to major Championships and the 2010 PGA Championship, August 9-15, 2010, will be the 3rd major championship to come to Whistling Straits in 12 years. 

In 2004, Vijay Singh won his 3rd Major Championship when he defeated Chris DiMarco and Justin Leonard in a 3-hole playoff.  In 2007, Brad Bryant became the 28th United States Senior Open Champion, overtaking third-round leader Tom Watson with a birdie on the 16th hole.

For most, the dream is to join golf’s elite and go down in history as a Major Champion.  In August 2010, the PGA of America and Whistling Straits will once again unite to bring the world’s best golfers back to Wisconsin.
