ACCOMMODATIONS
The American Club
The American Club resort-hotel was built in 1918 as a boarding house for immigrants working in the Kohler factory. In 1981 it was renovated and serves as one of the area’s most luxurious resort hotel in the Midwest. The American Club presents a very striking first impression with its Tudor architecture and its soaring roof peaks and slate tile. The hotel is filled with traditional American heritage Baker and McGuire furnishings. Acclaimed interior designer Frank Nicholson based in Boston designed the interior. And all 240 rooms have a Kohler Co. whirlpool bath and fixtures in the bathroom. We are most well known for our luxurious bathrooms.
Carriage House
The Carriage House guest rooms, located in the annex to The American Club, includes on-site check-in, continental breakfast, afternoon tea and evening beverages and hors d'oeuvres, as well as convenient and complimentary access to the Kohler Waters Spa and the rooftop spa experience.
Inn on Woodlake

And you should see the bathrooms.

1998 & 2010 U.S. Women's Open
River Course
The River course meanders throughout the Sheboygan River which comes in to play on 10 of the 18 holes. Additional water hazards on the course help to make the River an extremely penal course. The undulating greens and elevation changes are sure to frustrate players while the natural beauty is sure to please. The course has four sets of tees to accommodate players of any ability.
Meadow Valleys Course
The Meadow Valley course is appropriately named seeing that the front nine wanders through an open meadow and the back nine is carved out of a natural valley. The course has large rolling fairways and difficult greens. The back nine hosts several substantial elevation changes including the dramatic 227 yard par 3 15th. The course has four sets of tees to accommodate players of any ability.

Comprises two 18-hole golf courses: Straits Course and Irish Course
Host site of 2004, 2010 and 2015 PGA Championships, 2007 US Senior Open, and the 2020 Ryder Cup
Straits Course
The Straits course runs along 2 miles of uninterrupted shoreline of Lake Michigan. All eighteen holes have a view of the lake while eight of them run directly along the shoreline. Enormous bluffs, massive sand dunes and the traditional fescue grass fairways make the Straits course a unique and very challenging golf experience. The course has five sets of tees to accommodate players of any ability.
Irish Course
Host site of the 2005 Palmer Cup
The Irish course opened in August of 2000 to rave reviews. Four streams meander their way throughout the course giving it both character and bite. Similar to the Straits course, The Irish course has a multitude of large bluffs and sand dunes that add to the personality and difficulty of the course. The 13th hole, appropriately named "Blind man's bluff", is a blind par three with a 14,500 square foot green surrounded by 20-40 foot sand dunes. The course has five sets of tees to accommodate players of any ability.
