Old Course Hotel Overview

DESTINATION ST. ANDREWS

OLD COURSE HOTEL GOLF RESORT & SPA
St. Andrews, Scotland
There is no more spectacular location in all of St Andrews. This fine resort hotel overlooks the manicured acres of its namesake Old Course and across to the sea beyond. It’s an elegantly informal haven of luxury, warm hospitality and exquisite dining. The Kohler Co., a global leader in kitchen & bath plumbing products, recently purchased and renovated the Old Course Hotel in St. Andrews, Scotland. Along with the purchase, Kohler Co. unveiled the first flagship Kohler Waters Spa outside of Kohler, Wis., and remodeled of The Duke's as a heathland golf course with American architect Tim Liddy, the top associate of Pete Dye. This is the second resort for the Kohler Co.

ACTIVITIES & AMENITIES

SPA
Kohler Waters Spa at Old Course Hotel
One of Europe’s most advanced concepts in total well-being. Relax and restore your body as you enjoy the therapeutic benefits of water.

RESTAURANTS
The Jigger Inn

Relax in an authentic, pub-style atmosphere where some of the world's most famous characters have enjoyed casual fare and a pint or two. Good times, good company, great home-cooked food and a perfect pint or wee dram in convivial surroundings. If that’s your idea of pub heaven, you’ll find it at the Jigger Inn, The Old Course Hotel’s very own traditional Scottish pub…and the Old Course’s acknowledged 19th hole. This historic building dates back to the 1850’s, when it was the St Andrews station master’s lodge and it has lost none of its atmosphere. Step inside and you’ll warm to the genuine Scottish welcome, the golfing memorabilia, the crackling open-hearth fires and the gossip, which, needless to say, revolves around…the game.

Sands Grill
Sands Grill is a contemporary restaurant and bar. With dishes from the deep cold of the North Atlantic to the radiant warmth of the Mediterranean, the menu is intriguingly tempting. New World wines and beers feature alongside mini-champagne, classic cocktails and a martini bar. For a light lunch or dinner, Sands serves food as tasty as it is healthy.

Road Hole Fine Dining
St Andrew’s most memorable dining experience, The Road Hole Fine Dining was awarded a coveted third AA rosette in October last year. Located on the top floor of the hotel, the elegant grill room offers panoramic views over the St Andrews links, the surrounding countryside and the sea. While inside, a genuine Scottish welcome awaits you along with the very best of Scottish and organic produce. The menu is complemented by an extensive wine list of more than 165 wines.

The Duke's Bar and Grill
Located in the Duke’s Clubhouse, the restaurant and bar is the perfect place for you and your guests to relax before or after your round. For private parties or special occasions the Captains’ Room is ideal for meetings or dining for up to 20 people.

GOLF
Duke's Course
With a spectacular setting above St Andrews, the championship Duke's gives magnificent panoramic views over the surrounding countryside to the sea. The Duke's is highly regarded as one of the finest heathland championship courses in the British Isles and a 'must play' course for any golfer. Its style ranks alongside the great inland challenges which demand accuracy and inventive play as well as power golf. And with five separate tee positions at every hole, The Duke's has the flexibility and challenge to appeal to golfers at every level.
