Tricks of the Trade: A Master Plumber and Executive Chef Switch "Rolls"
Ed Del Grande and Chef Ulrich Koberstein
Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? Destination Kohler's Executive Chef Ulrich Koberstein will work side-by-side with Master Plumber Ed Del Grande - host of Ed the Plumber on DIY Network - as the chef shows Del Grande how to pick out a kitchen island and prepare some appetizers with vodka-themed drinks. The plumber will then show Koberstein how to sweat a pipe and build a storage cabinet for his prized wine collection.
In this demonstration, attendees will learn the basics for setting up a kitchen island - from how to pick out the right faucet and accessories to which questions you should ask your plumber or contractor. The duo will review current trends in vodka and wine and what sort of storage units work best for each type of liquor. Guests will then be treated to sample the fare as Koberstein instructs Del Grande on how to utilize the kitchen island as a serving area.
