Have you tried the Moody Blue cheese by Wisconsin-based Roth Käse yet? This delicate blue cheese tastes great in a salad or on a cheese plate, and tonight Laurie will show you how to use this seductive blue cheese in an easy-to-create culinary dish. A glass of wine, samples and recipe will be provided.

*Also known as “Taming the Picky Eater”. Are you tired of arguing over every last nibble at the table? Tonight Laurie, a recovering picky eater, will discuss ways to help end mealtime battles with your child and make healthy eating fun for the entire family. Recipes, tips and samples will be provided. This class is designed for parents of children ages 2 – 6.

Gourmet foods from Woodlake Market will be paired with each wine selection. Ticket price includes a copy of her book.

Grab your girlfriends and learn how to shake up some new summertime drinks! We’ll be talking about what makes a great cocktail, sharing ideas on planning what to mix for your next party and of course, mixing scrumptious custom cocktails! Along with drinking any “mistakes”, we will be serving up plenty of party pleasing appetizers. Recipes provided.

Food For Life: Living Gluten-free

Courtney Lindstrom, who has her Bachelor’s Degree in Nutritional Sciences and is currently working towards her Master’s Degree in Nutrition Education, will be speaking on living gluten-free. Courtney was diagnosed with celiac disease several years ago and is looking forward to share her knowledge and lifestyle hints and tips with us. A light gluten-free meal and a glass of wine will be served. We will also be providing recipes for the dishes served this evening.

Stop in today and meet the faces behind your food as we celebrate our local producers! Learn more about CSAs (community supported agriculture), ways to eat locally and sample delicious foods.
Preregistration is required for ticketed events. Your space will be guaranteed at the time of payment. Ticketed classes require a minimum of six people to be held, so encourage friends to register with you. If you are unable to attend an event for which you purchased tickets for, please contact Laurie to discuss available options.
