HEARTS OF COURAGE
5:30–7:30pm | $40
The much-loved archetype of Hanuman inspires this practice of storytelling, progressive alignment, and breath-based vinyasa practice to ignite your courageous heart, mobilize, and stabilize your legs/hips/pelvis in devoted service of a well-aligned Hanumanasana. Expect step-by-step progressive sequencing, alignment and anatomical specificity, and mythic Hanuman story.

NOVEMBER 4

PROJECT ARM BALANCE
10:30am–12:30pm | $40
Take flight in this strong all-level workshop on arm balance postures. Expect plenty of core strengthening, standing poses, hip openers, and upper body strengtheners as we systematically deconstruct, prepare for, and reconstruct arm-balancing postures and inversions. Experience the graceful power of these poses and be ready for some breakthroughs! Bring any yoga props you might like to use.

DEMYSTIFYING ALIGNMENT
2:30–4:30pm | $40
Geared towards dedicated students and teachers of yoga, we dive deeply into the applied anatomy of poses, principles of movement (kinesiology), and functional biomechanics of asana alignment and sequencing. Every pose is in its optimal state when it can be embodied with an optimal mix of stability and ease (sthira/sukha), but all too often we get bogged down with contradictory alignment cues that leave us overwhelmed and confused, both physically and mentally. Through lecture, prop work, and experiential learning, Noah will offer a powerful and logical, step-by-step process for understanding, practicing, and teaching asana alignment in this compelling workshop. Bring a notebook and a copy of Light On Yoga (and any other asana resource you might like to use).

NOVEMBER 5

IN THE FLOW
10:30am–2:30pm | $40
This strong all-levels vinyasa practice builds on fundamental vinyasa poses and transitions (sun salutations), creates heat, focus, and strength, and progresses into increasingly complex and creative peak sequences that combine standing poses, hip openers, arm balances, inversions, and backbends. Expect strong continuous practice, in rhythm with your breath, alignment combined with flow. Come ready to play hard and challenge your practice.
