RETREAT PRESENTERS
Debbie Denzer
Deb Denzer

Landscape Team – Destination Kohler

Deb Denzer is an accomplished landscape technician III with over 25 years of experience in the industry. She holds a bachelor of science in conservation and ecology and has worked with distinguished companies such as Kohler, in addition to running a successful business cultivating unique herbs and microgreens.

Deb's passion for horticulture began with her grandmother, an avid gardener, and composter. From an early age, Deb was exposed to various tropical plants, including Lady Finger bananas, which sparked her interest in the field. At Kohler, Deb finds creative satisfaction in gardening and takes pride in the joy that her planters and gardens bring to guests. Her personal favorites are plants that offer diverse textures and colors, thriving in the right conditions, especially edible plants from other cultures.

In addition to her professional work, Deb has accomplished remarkable feats, such as helping to launch Bookworm Gardens—the only children's garden in Sheboygan County, designed to inspire children through literature. She also made significant contributions to the Kohler Experiential Learning Center, where she developed program activities that continue to be used today. As an active board member of the Moraine Shores Audubon Society, Deb educates the public about the significance of birds and their conservation. With her impressive experience and numerous accomplishments, Deb is truly an invaluable asset to the landscape and growing community.
